A fourth-generation Texan and proud Austinite since the late ’90s, Ashlyn Angel has witnessed Austin’s remarkable evolution over the past 25 years.
Hailing from Mansfield, Texas, Ashlyn embarked on her journey to Austin to pursue higher education, initially enrolling in college before transferring to Southwest Texas State in San Marcos. There, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Fashion Merchandising, laying the groundwork for her multifaceted career path.
Following graduation, Ashlyn delved into the world of costumes for film and television, taking her from bustling sets in Austin to productions nationwide. While on location, Ashlyn found herself researching local real estate opportunities. She became fascinated with the housing markets in any city she worked in while working in production. This also led Ashlyn to finally take the leap and purchase her own home in Austin.
Ashlyn is continually drawn to Austin’s dynamic real estate landscape. Balancing the art of finding her clients their dream homes while adhering to budgetary constraints became a challenge she embraced wholeheartedly.
When she’s not tirelessly advocating for her clients or making strategic real estate investments, Ashlyn is also deeply committed to supporting the local film industry, actively lobbying for state incentives to bolster its growth and sustainability.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ashlyn is a dedicated advocate for wildlife conservation, particularly for the endangered mountain gorillas of Africa.
